Petruth Paddocks Campsite

Petruth Paddocks is a live-and-let-live place where there are refreshingly few rules, kids can be kids, campfires are encouraged, music & bad singing are not a problem and people feel free to wander round making new friends – we call it Free range camping. We follow a simple mantra: “People may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.” (Maya Angelou) We spend time with our customers – usually around their campfire. Jules and the family spend most evenings simply chatting to folk from all walks, ages and stages of life finding out what’s important to them and hearing their stories. They just love our approach – no unnecessary rules – just sensible ones along with a genuine interest in their well-being. Whilst our customers are a true cross-section of society they all share a desire for enjoying outdoor life, getting away from the rat-race and seeing their children run free. We recognise that within that, different folks are after different strokes – the young couple will prefer not to be next to a lively family. The quiet family will prefer not to be next to a hen-party. We consider this when planning each evening and on the rare occasion we get it wrong we’ll soon fix it – whatever it takes! As a family we’re agreed upon our purpose and truly passionate about fulfilling it. Our customers tell us that this shines through in everything we do.
