About The History Hut

A reimagined WW2 Nissen Hut filled with displays, artefacts and information about Somerset. From Roman times,through the Wars to the present day. Set on a secluded hill, with panoramic views to Glastonbury Tor and Stembridge Windmill. A mini museum interesting for all ages and abilities. Free entry, but donations appreciated. Can be booked for clubs, groups and schools. There are toilets, and a car park. Especially interesting for the older generation, bringing back memories of bygone days. Seating outside when the weather allows, heating inside if it’s cold. Open weekends often have guest displays.
