About Tricky Cider

Nestled at Netherham Farm in Low Ham, near Langport, Somerset, Tricky Cider has been crafting traditional cider since 2004. Originally founded by Steve Watkins and Alistair Brice, their mission has always been to preserve the art of traditional cider making. In 2018, their journey took an exciting turn when Matt Gillett, a lifelong cider enthusiast from Taunton, took the reins. Under Matt’s leadership, they relocated to their  current home in 2023 to be closer to the orchards we lovingly harvest. This move has enabled them to press our own cider on-site and ramp up production. They are proud to produce craft cider using 100% juice from locally sourced cider apples—no concentrates, no additives, just pure cider-making passion. Their  range includes single variety and blended ciders, as well as fruit ciders infused with our homemade cordials. Whether you prefer bottles or bag-in-box options, they have got something to suit every taste. You can find them at Netherham Farm, Low Ham, Langport, Somerset, TA10 9DR. If you’d like to visit, we recommend getting in touch first, as they don’t keep regular opening hours.
